Freeze enveloping you like another skin,
I touch you, and you numb my fingers.
I watch you transition from calm teal to ghostly white
to fierce blue all in a single day.
The emotions beneath you rising over your skin,
Like shades of the blue skinned Lord running wild across you.
Staring at you,
the pebbles beneath you, holding the stillness of the encircling mountains.
I see your bed of rocks, your surface crawling slowly like a blue snail through the valley.
These waters traverse two countries yet choose only to flow.
Pangong, ancient and virgin, you are salty and breathtakingly sweet.
Exchanging love and kindness through waters that does not know it is a border.
